GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

Administrative support for the Human Resources Department which includes maintaining personnel files, I-9 authorizations, benefit enrollment follow-up and new hire onboarding.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee new-hire procedures, including organizing employee orientation, creating new employee files, administering employee handbooks, and ensuring all necessary paperwork is properly filled out and submitted to appropriate persons

Verify I-9 documentation and maintain I-9 files.

Send new hire request forms to IT

Assists with the preparation and distribution of new policies, performance views and other company initiatives

Schedules meetings and interviews as requested by the Director of HR.

Makes photocopies; mail correspondence, scan and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions.

Assists or prepares correspondence as requested

Prepares new-employee files. Files documents into appropriate employee files.

Assist with department invoices

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Health Plus Management LLC (HPM) provides management services to medical practices specializing in the area of Pain Management and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. HPM manages 45 locations throughout Long Island, NYC including the 5 boroughs, Westchester, NJ and Upstate. We provide management services that give the physician and therapists the opportunity to provide patient care without worrying about the administrative needs of the practice. EDUCATION & TRAINING

Bachelor's degree in human resource management, Business Administration, Communication, or related field preferred

1-2 years' experience in Human Resources or Administrative role

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures

Managing multiple projects

Create forms to streamline workflows and procedures

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Interpersonal and customer service skills.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Able to facilitate training and new hire orientations

***Able to lift 10-15 pounds

Starting Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour

Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time

Exempt/Non-Exempt Non-Exempt
