As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Operations in Wichita, KS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic aero and defense location as an unarmed patrol professional in a driving post. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $20.07 / Hour

Wed06:45 AM - 02:45 PM

Thur06:45 AM - 02:45 PM

Fri06:45 AM - 02:45 PM

Sat06:45 AM - 02:45 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.

Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized personnel, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site protocols for an aerospace and defense location.

Support incident response by communicating with local authorities, emergency contacts, and/or site management while following post orders and maintaining detailed activity logs.

Minimum Requirements:

Supervisory experience is required.

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
