As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Alarm Response in Newport News, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and respond professionally to concerns. Pay Rate: $28.00 / Hour

Day Time

Mon01:00 PM - 08:00 PM

Tue01:00 PM - 08:00 PM

Wed01:00 PM - 08:00 PM

Thur01:00 PM - 08:00 PM

Fri01:00 PM - 08:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Monitor employee, visitor, contractor, and vehicle access and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations.

Maintain assigned firearm and equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, licensing requirements, and applicable laws.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
