JOB REQUIREMENTS: Location: Remote (Wisconsin Preferred) Schedule: Approximately 30 hours per week We\'re partnering with a growing law firm that specializes in commercial debt collection for businesses and organizations throughout Wisconsin. Due to continued growth and an increase in post-judgment collection work, the firm is expanding its team and is seeking detail-oriented Legal Assistants who thrive in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. Unlike a traditional law firm, this role focuses on supporting the legal collection process for business clients, including healthcare organizations, dental offices, chiropractors, HVAC companies, and other commercial accounts. What You\'ll Do Prepare and process legal documents related to post-judgment collections. Assist with wage garnishments and other collection-related legal processes. Complete operational audits to ensure compliance with legal requirements. Utilize proprietary software and case management systems to manage account activity. Track, update, and upload information using Microsoft Excel and Word. Review system-generated reports and complete required account actions. Communicate professionally with clients regarding account status and legal processes. Maintain accurate electronic records in a high-volume environment. ** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Qualifications Previous legal assistant, court, or administrative experience preferred. Experience with the Wisconsin Judicial System, Wisconsin eFiling, and court filing processes is highly preferred. Court or courthouse experience is a strong plus. Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
