JMT's Virginia Beach, Virginia office is seeking an Administrative Assistant to be responsible for office administration tasks.

Immigration sponsorship or support (e.g. H1B, F-1 CPT/OPT/STEM OPT) is not available for this position, except for qualified candidates eligible for the TN visa classification.

Compensation for this position is $33.00-36.00/hour, commensurate with experience, education, and certifications. The provided range is a good faith estimate based on the requirements described within the job description. If so, the actual salary range may vary from the estimate provided.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Draft, edit, format, copy, and distribute correspondence, reports, and other documents

Maintain electronic and physical filing systems, records, databases, and contact information

Assist in the review and analysis of operational reports and finances

Assists with power points, presentations, meeting agendas, action item follow-up, communication, and conference budgeting and tracking support

Assist in development and review of operational budgeting for the various business line needs

Coordinate calendars, meetings, and events, including scheduling, room setup, catering, materials, and on-site support

Assist with operations planning, tracking, and reporting

Assist with travel arrangements, expense reports, invoices, purchase orders, and other administrative records

Support onboarding activities, employee programs, company events, and office/business line communications

Nonessential functions and responsibilities

Perform other related duties as assigned

Required SkillsRequired Experience

High school diploma or equivalent

Qualifications Preferred

Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite

Working Conditions

Work is performed within a general office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require occasional standing and walking. Lifting and carrying objects up to 20 pounds. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment.
