As an Armed Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Rover in Fort Lupton, CO , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Day Time

Sat08:00 AM - 05:00 PM

Sun08:00 AM - 05:00 PM

How This Role Works:

Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to government employees, visitors, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.

Perform armed patrols of government buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, requesting assistance from law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed.

Monitor access points, verify credentials, and address unauthorized entry or restricted-area concerns in accordance with established procedures.

Document patrol activity, incidents, and observed hazards through clear and accurate reports, and promptly communicate significant concerns to designated personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.

Be at least 21 years of age.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
