JOB REQUIREMENTS: Premier Community Bank is seeking a Title Assistant to join our team! As a Title Assistant, you\'ll play an important role in supporting the title and closing process from order opening through final policy issuance. You\'ll help maintain organized and accurate files, assist with title production, gather and track documentation, prepare title commitments and supporting reports, and communicate with lenders, realtors, attorneys, buyers, sellers, and other stakeholders. Your attention to detail and follow-through will help ensure transactions move smoothly and efficiently toward closing. This position is an excellent opportunity to develop specialized knowledge in title insurance, real estate transactions, and closing processes while working alongside experienced professionals. You\'ll gain hands-on experience with title production, post-closing activities, construction draw processing, and customer support, while contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional service to our customers and communities. What You\'ll Do: Open new title orders and maintain electronic and physical file records according to office procedures. Communicate professionally with lenders, realtors, buyers, sellers, attorneys, county offices, underwriters, and coworkers regarding routine file status and documentation needs. Assist with preparing title commitments, letter reports, and supporting documentation for Title Agent review. Assist with post-closing file review, final title policies, underwriter remittance, reporting, and file cleanup. Skills for Success: Ability to manage multiple files, deadlines, and follow-up items at the same time. Must be willing to obtain and maintain any required title insurance license within a reasonable period of time as determined by management and applicable licensing requirements. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and document consistency. Proficiency in title production software, as well as Microsoft operating systems, including Word and Excel.
