Warehouse Associate - Mass Production of Compressors

Position Summary

The Warehouse Associate supports daily warehouse and distribution operations in a fast-paced compressor manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for receiving, staging, moving, picking, packing, and verifying materials to ensure products and components are delivered accurately and on time. Associates play a key role in inventory accuracy, quality control, and maintaining a safe and organized warehouse.

Shift

1st Shift: 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM

2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 2:00 AM

3rd Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Pay

$18.00 - $20.70 per hour

Key Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and shipments.

Pick, pack, and prepare orders for production and customer shipments.

Stage materials and components for production teams and warehouse operations.

Operate pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment as needed.

Load and unload trucks while ensuring products are handled safely.

Perform inventory counts and assist with cycle count activities.

Verify part numbers, quantities, and product locations to maintain inventory accuracy.

Report damaged materials, inventory discrepancies, and shipping issues to supervisors.

Maintain accurate records using inventory tracking systems and scanners.

Support the movement of raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods throughout the facility.

Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and warehouse best practices.

Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, distribution, or logistics experience preferred.

Experience operating pallet jacks, RF scanners, or material-handling equipment is a plus.

Ability to accurately read work orders, shipping documents, and inventory records.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment with productivity goals.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.

Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and data entry.

Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Work Environment

Fast-paced warehouse and distribution environment supporting compressor manufacturing operations.

Regular exposure to forklifts, pallet jacks, conveyor systems, and shipping equipment.

Frequent standing, walking, lifting, bending, and material movement throughout the shift.

Climate can vary depending on warehouse location and production activity.

Required use of PPE and adherence to safety standards at all times.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tallahassee, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.70/hr.
