Description We are looking for a dependable Administrative Assistant to support daily operations for the accounting team in Plymouth, Massachusetts. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys keeping records organized, handling routine office tasks, and responding professionally to customer questions. The role offers part-time hours of approximately 15 to 20 hours per week, with availability needed each weekday morning.

Responsibilities:

Maintain organized records by processing, filing, and updating customer documents and payment-related paperwork.

Support accounting activities by handling accounts payable and accounts receivable filing in an accurate and timely manner.

Respond to incoming customer inquiries with professionalism and route questions to the appropriate team when needed.

Open, sort, and distribute incoming mail to help keep office communications running smoothly.

Scan and archive documents so that files remain accessible and up to date.

Perform general administrative support tasks, including data entry and other day-to-day office assistance.

Assist with front-office and receptionist-style duties as needed to support the broader team. Requirements - Prior experience in administrative support, office coordination, reception, or a similar clerical role is helpful.

Comfortable performing accurate data entry, document filing, and scanning tasks in a fast-paced office setting.

Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to handle inbound customer inquiries courteously and efficiently.

Reliable availability to work 15 to 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, during morning hours.

Ability to stay organized, manage routine paperwork, and maintain attention to detail.

Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn QuickBooks through on-the-job training.
