Job Description
The Production Technician I works in a clean room manufacturing environment assembling medical devices using hand tools, basic equipment, and manual assembly techniques. You will follow detailed written work instructions, maintain strict quality standards, and ensure products are assembled accurately and efficiently. This role suits individuals who are mechanically inclined, enjoy working with their hands, and can perform repetitive tasks with precision and focus.
Responsibilities
Assemble medical devices using hand tools, fixtures, and basic manufacturing equipment.
Follow written work instructions, procedures, and quality standards to complete production tasks accurately.
Perform all work in a clean room environment while adhering to safety rules and company guidelines.
Inspect products and small components for quality and report any issues, defects, or irregularities.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company standards.
Communicate production concerns, equipment issues, or quality observations to supervisors or leads in a timely manner.
Meet daily production goals while maintaining a high level of accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail.
Handle small components with hands and fingers to perform precise assembly tasks.
Operate basic production and machine equipment as needed to support general production activities.
Work at a fast manufacturing pace while maintaining focus on quality and safety.
Essential Skills

Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with hand tools and basic manufacturing equipment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks with precision.
Ability to work at a fast manufacturing pace while maintaining quality standards.

Ability to inspect small parts visually, using corrective lenses if needed.
Capability to stand for 12-hour shifts as required by the production schedule.
High school diploma or GED, with a physical copy available.
Willingness to work in a clean room environment and comply with all related protocols.
Ability to work the scheduled shift hours listed in the work environment section.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in production, general labor, or general manufacturing is beneficial.
Experience in assembly, cleanroom work, or machine operation is an advantage.
Forklift experience is helpful for broader production support.
Comfort wearing full clean room personal protective equipment, including mask and hood that cover face and hair except the eyes.
No prior Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) experience is required, as it is not essential for this role.
Willingness to learn new processes and adapt to evolving production requirements.
Strong communication skills to effectively report issues and collaborate with team members.

Work Environment
This role is based in an air-conditioned, clean room manufacturing facility with all required personal protective equipment (PPE) provided. The schedule follows a shift pattern from 5 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., Sunday through Wednesday, on 12-hour shifts. You will work in a controlled clean room environment, which requires wearing PPE including a mask and hood that cover the face and hair, leaving only the eyes exposed. The facility supports production, assembly, cleanroom operations, and general manufacturing activities, and you will be expected to stand for extended periods while working at a consistent production pace.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.75 - $19.75/hr.
