Job Title: Manufacturing Technician Job Description
This role focuses on operating and supporting semiconductor manufacturing processes in a cleanroom environment. You will work hands-on with advanced production equipment, follow detailed procedures, and support the introduction of new technologies and products into manufacturing. The position combines technical execution, careful documentation, and close collaboration with engineering and maintenance teams to ensure high-quality output and continuous process improvement.
Responsibilities
Operate semiconductor manufacturing equipment in a controlled cleanroom environment according to established procedures.
Follow detailed manufacturing procedures and work instructions with precision and consistency.
Support new technology introductions by running new products and processes before they move into full production.
Monitor equipment performance and process conditions to ensure stable and reliable operation.
Track production activities and results using the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and other manufacturing systems.
Document production data, process parameters, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner.
Work closely with engineers to troubleshoot process issues and contribute to improving yields and product quality.
Collaborate with maintenance teams to identify equipment-related issues and support timely resolution.
Participate in continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Adhere to cleanroom protocols, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards, and safety procedures at all times.
Essential Skills
Manufacturing experience in a production or technical environment.
Experience in semiconductor manufacturing or working in a cleanroom environment (preferred).
Ability to follow detailed procedures and work instructions precisely.
Comfort working with technology and manufacturing systems, including Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with engineers and maintenance teams.
Demonstrated reliability, including consistent attendance and punctuality.
Troubleshooting skills for identifying and addressing process and equipment issues.
Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
Ability to work safely and effectively while wearing cleanroom garments and personal protective equipment (PPE).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience supporting new technology introductions or new product introduction (NPI) activities.
Background in RF, microwave, 5G, automotive, or communications-related manufacturing environments.
Exposure to Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
Comfort working with advanced semiconductor fabrication tools and automated equipment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Santa Rosa, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $34.80 - $58.00/hr.
