Description

We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our team in Romeoville, Illinois in a contract-to-permanent capacity. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced call center setting, enjoys helping customers, and can communicate clearly across a high volume of interactions. The person in this position will support customers by resolving questions, documenting details accurately, and contributing to service and performance goals.

Responsibilities:

Manage a steady flow of incoming and outgoing customer calls, providing timely and attentive support related to products, services, and account concerns.

Listen carefully to each customer situation, identify the underlying issue, and deliver practical solutions or route more complex matters to the appropriate team.

Enter and maintain accurate records of customer conversations, requested actions, and follow-up steps within company databases.

Assist customers with order-related questions and complete order entry tasks with close attention to accuracy and detail.

Recognize opportunities to recommend additional products or services that align with customer needs while maintaining a service-focused approach.

Work toward established performance expectations by balancing efficiency, issue resolution, and customer satisfaction during every interaction.

Handle customer concerns and complaints with care, empathy, and sound judgment to support positive outcomes.

Collaborate with internal partners when needed to ensure open items are addressed and customers receive complete and accurate information.

The pay range for this position is $19 to $22

Requirements - At least 3 years of experience in customer service, preferably in a call center or high-volume support environment.

Demonstrated ability to manage both inbound and outbound calls while maintaining professionalism and accuracy.

Experience with order entry and customer account updates in a structured service environment.

Strong verbal communication and active listening skills with the ability to de-escalate concerns effectively.

Proven ability to document customer interactions thoroughly and maintain accurate records.

Comfortable working toward service metrics such as response efficiency, resolution rates, and customer satisfaction.

Proficiency with standard computer systems and the ability to navigate multiple tools while assisting customers. TalentMatch®
