Summary:

We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Safety Administrative Assistant to join our jobsite team. In this role, you will serve as the backbone of our site safety operations, supporting the Safety Manager and field supervisors.

Job Description:

Provides crucial administrative support to our organization's safety and security programs by managing safety documentation, coordinating training, tracking compliance, assisting with incident reporting, and performing general administrative tasks to help maintain a safe workplace environment.

Schedule, setup, and assist in facilitating Site Safety Orientations for all new field craft personnel, engineers, subcontractors and visitors.

Coordinating employee and subcontractor drug testing.

Maintain training matrixes and track expiration dates for required certifications (e.g., OSHA 10/30, First Aid/CPR, Rigging, Scaffolding, Forklift).

Act as a point of contact for safety-related issues and concerns. Maintain confidentiality of company information.

Assist with planning Safety Department events.

Process and distribute necessary reports internally and externally.

Maintain up-to-date tracking logs for site access approvals and badging.

Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.

Two (2)+ years of administrative experience, preferably within construction, engineering, industrial, or safety departments.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word and Excel).

Integrity, honesty, professionalism, and appropriate concern regarding dissemination of sensitive and confidential information.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word and Excel).

Experience with construction management software (e.g., Procore, HCSS) is a plus.

Excellent verbal and written skills; excellent organizational and customer service skills.

Ability to sit or stand for extended periods, navigate uneven terrain on job sites, and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when walking the field (hard hat, safety glasses, high-vis vest, protective-toe boots).
