What's a typical day as a Manufactiring Manager? You'll:
Manage and coordinate all aspects of manufacturing and production, including personnel oversight.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to maximize efficiency and cost-effectiveness while maintaining high standards.
Oversee procurement for all manufacturing supplies, tooling, and MRO.
Ensure all production meets established quality and on-time performance goals.
Collaborate with Quality Assurance for preventative and corrective actions and new process development.
Track and report shop labor efficiencies, manage asset utilization, and monitor production schedules.
Direct equipment maintenance programs and support safety meetings and guidelines.
Provide team leadership, training, and development, attending staff meetings and contributing departmental measurements.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
Have an Associate's degree or higher (preferred) and 5+ years' experience in machined component manufacturing.
Have at least 2 years' supervisory or management experience in a medium to large machine shop.
Are motivated, ambitious, and collaborative-with a sharp attention to detail and a focus on quality and safety.
Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, and use Microsoft Outlook and Excel confidently.
Possess expertise in FANUC and MAZATROL controls, MasterCAM programming (preferred), and G-code troubleshooting.
Are familiar with Lean manufacturing concepts
Show excellent organizational, conceptual, and time management skills, with proven ability for multi-tasking and problem-solving.
Are physically able to use overhead cranes and perform required lifting.
