This position is full-time, Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm PST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.
We offer 2 weeks of on-the-job training. The hours of training will be aligned with your schedule.
Primary Responsibilities:
Performing insurance eligibility checks and obtaining pre-authorizations with Carriers, and researching and resolving issues in order to receive maximum profitability for clients
Daily coordination with Hospital department contacts as part of Prior Authorization workflow
Intermittent interaction with patients to resolve account issues
Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent work experience
Must be 18 years of age OR older
1+ years of authorizations experience within healthcare
Experience with patient registration and insurance verification experience in healthcare
Ability using computer and Windows PC applications, which includes keyboard and navigation skills and ability to learn new computer programs
Ability to work full time onsite at 915 Anderson Dr, Aberdeen, WA 98520
Ability to work full-time, Monday - Friday between 8:00am - 5:00pm PST including the flexibility to work occasional overtime given the business need
Preferred Qualifications:
Healthcare and/or insurance billing or processing experience
Experience working with insurance websites
Customer service experience
Ability to perform functions in Microsoft Excel (edit, filter, sort)
Soft Skills:
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively through both written and verbal channels.

The hourly pay for this role will range from $16 - $29 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
