This internship is unpaid and designed to support students or recent graduates seeking practical experience in the field. Candidates may be eligible to earn academic credit through their college or university. General Statement of Duties and Responsibilities: The Climate Fellow will support DCR's climate outreach and engagement efforts. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Support community outreach and engagement efforts for DCR parkway adaptation and climate resilience projects. Assist in planning and coordinating public meetings, workshops, and other engagement activities. Help develop outreach materials, presentations, maps, surveys, and informational resources. Collect, organize, and summarize community feedback from public engagement activities. Preferred Qualifications: Interest in climate resilience, environmental planning, public health, sustainability, or related fields Coursework or academic experience in environmental science, climate studies, geography/GIS, urban planning, public policy, data analysis, or a related discipline Strong research, analytical, and organizational skills. Experience collecting, organizing, or analyzing quantitative or qualitative data. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Ability to communicate clearly in writing and in person with diverse audiences and community stakeholders. Please see Preferred Qualifications.
