Job Description

Join a team dedicated to building and assembling industrial control panels using electrical schematics and blueprints. This role involves wire cutting, stripping, crimping, building wire harnesses, and running electrical wires from point-to-point. You will also be responsible for the installation of electronic and mechanical components using various hand, power, air, and torque tools.

Responsibilities

Build and assemble industrial control panels.

Interpret and work from electrical schematics and blueprints.

Perform wire cutting, stripping, and crimping.

Construct wire harnesses and run electrical wires from point-to-point.

Install electronic and mechanical components.

Utilize hand tools, power tools, air tools, and torque tools efficiently.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.

Experience in wiring, assembly, and crimping.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.

Assembly experience is a bonus.

A passion for building things, electronics, or electrical work is ideal.

Work Environment

The work environment is a smaller, privately owned panel shop employing around 30 people. The facility operates on a first shift schedule from 6am to 2:30pm, Monday through Friday, with flexible start times available to accommodate public transportation needs. The shop is located in a light technical setting within an old airport hangar, which is clean and organized. The company has a positive culture and is committed to training new employees in building electrical control panels. Different cells within the shop focus on building various @types of panels for a range of clients and industries.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Troutdale, OR.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
