As a Security Officer - Hospital Patrol - Afternoon Shift in Englewood, CO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal in a healthcare location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with strong customer service and communication. In this unarmed patrol role, you will contribute to a caring culture that puts people first, working with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity every day.

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

Mon02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Tue02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Wed02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Sat02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Sun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or urgent situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including entrances, hallways, parking areas, and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and general support, and help to address unusual behavior and/or policy concerns.

Support staff during security-related calls for assistance, help to manage disruptive situations, and communicate with local responders and/or site leadership when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Possession of a state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
