As a Security Officer Access Enhanced Part Time Driver in Brunswick, GA , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

Fri01:00 PM - 09:00 PM

How This Role Works:

Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific access control procedures, badge verification practices, and security-related policies appropriate to an aerospace and defense location.

Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, maintain visitor logs, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, aircraft-related spaces, and/or sensitive operational zones.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying site contacts and/or emergency personnel in line with post orders.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or conditions that may require follow-up.

Support screening, escort, and key or badge accountability processes while documenting daily activities, incidents, and access-related concerns according to Allied Universal and site guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.

CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
