Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer in a government transit location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a professional presence for the public and staff. This role offers the chance to put your training, communication, and customer service skills to work with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and grounded in integrity.

Pay Rate: $33.70 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

Mon11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Fri11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to riders, visitors, and/or personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and communicating with site contacts and/or public agencies as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols of stations, platforms, facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.

Monitor access points, screen for restricted-area entry concerns, and verify credentials and/or authorizations in accordance with location policies and post orders.

Carry and maintain authorized equipment in accordance with post requirements, remain prepared to respond to escalated situations, and support requested security-related actions within the scope of assigned duties.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.

Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.

Possess an armed guard card or license.

Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
