Assembly Technician
Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will perform basic, standardized, and repetitive mechanical assembly operations while following detailed work instructions and visual aids. Key Responsibilities
Assembly Operations
Perform routine mechanical assembly of components, assemblies, and subassemblies according to work instructions.
Assemble inserted components manually using visual aids, diagrams, and specifications.
Apply labels and identification markings accurately to products and components.
Ensure all assembly tasks are completed efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
Quality & Inspection
Inspect parts and completed assemblies to verify proper assembly and compliance with specifications.
Identify defects, damaged components, or assembly inconsistencies and report them promptly.
Follow established quality control procedures throughout the production process.
Equipment & Reporting
Operate scanners to track production activities and accurately record assembly data.
Safely use hand tools and basic power tools required for assembly operations.
Maintain accurate production records and assembly reports.
Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored after use.
Safety & Compliance
Follow all company safety regulations, manufacturing procedures, and work instructions.
Comply with company security policies and workplace standards.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Adhere to all manufacturing and quality guidelines.
Team Support
Work under the direct supervision of the Manufacturing Supervisor or Line Manager.
Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.
Support additional production-related tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Essential Skills
Experience performing mechanical assembly in a manufacturing or production environment.
Ability to read and follow detailed verbal and written instructions.
Proficiency in the use of hand tools and basic power tools.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks with consistency and accuracy.
Basic problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 35 lbs .
Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions throughout the work shift.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working in a warehouse, manufacturing, or production environment.
Familiarity with barcode scanners and data entry systems.
Experience with assembly documentation and production tracking.
Understanding of workplace safety practices and quality control procedures.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs on a regular basis.
Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts.
Ability to use hands and fingers for repetitive assembly tasks.
Ability to visually inspect products and components for quality and accuracy.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.70/hr.
