Responsibilities If selected for this position, you will join a well-respected team that is responsible for providing a variety of administrative management analysis and direct support services to the United States Attorney's Office, Eastern District of Texas. Typical Work assignments will include: Conduct analytical studies of multifaceted administrative issues and problems to provide recommendations to enhance productive operations, and maximum resources. Serve as action officer for senior staff in administering a wide variety of administrative support activities, e.g., office moves, reorganizations, and communication system changes. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications GS-12: To be qualified at the GS-12 level you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as performing analysis on management issues; identifies issues in need of study; develops analytical methods and the preparation of reports and/or impact statements of findings, as required; recommends reallocation of resources or increase automation; analyzes and evaluates current work methods and procedures; utilizing manpower, use of equipment and management controls to develop long and short term goals, provides assistance to senior officials, providing a variety of support services to an organization which include space management, purchasing supplies and equipment; requesting proposals and reviewing bids for supplies and equipment; responsible for property security and inventory. Specialized experience also includes overseeing building renovation; mail services and reproduction services, developing inventory programs for an organization and/or managing a procurement program for an organization.
