Compile, consolidate, review, analyze, and edit daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual fiscal reports as required by VACO, VISN, and/or station management. Review and maintain employment, obligation, expenditure, and workload reports while keeping management informed of their status and any significate changes. Complete projections for financial resources for a variety of programs to include recurring operating needs and personnel service expenses. Keep Supervisory Budget Analyst and CFO appraised of projected needs/excess Communicate with staff at all levels within the organization, VISN and VA Central Office, communication will include face-to-face, email or via telephone. Provide training to Fiscal personnel and other personnel at Long Beach in budgetary procedures and how to interpret standard budgetary reports. Ensure station Management is informed of their budget status and any significant changes in resource allocations, whether they be projected excess or deficit. Direct station fund control systems with the support of the Supervisory Budget Analyst. Participates actively in Budget formulation and execution process, from beginning of fiscal year to end-of-FY. Maintains accurate and up-to-date projections for assigned programs, information is often requested for multi complex programs with very short notice.
