Cement Truck Drivers Needed in Brighton, CO - $24.54/hour

We're seeking a Equipment Driver to support daily plant operations by operating a Ready Mix truck and other heavy equipment in a fast-paced production environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in maintaining equipment, and values teamwork and reliability.

What You'll Do

As an Equipment Driver, you will play a key role in keeping production running smoothly by safely transporting concrete, operating equipment, and assisting with plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate a Ready Mix truck within the plant yard and production areas.

Deliver concrete to production forms accurately and efficiently based on operational needs.

Perform routine inspections and light maintenance to ensure equipment remains in safe working condition.

Clean and maintain the Ready Mix truck, including washing equipment and maintaining the mixing drum.

Identify and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and communicate larger concerns to leadership.

Operate additional heavy equipment as needed to support production and yard operations.

Follow all company safety standards, operational procedures, and site regulations.

Assist with special projects and other plant duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

Required Skills & Experience

Experience operating trucks or heavy equipment in an industrial, construction, manufacturing, or yard environment.

Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to perform routine equipment maintenance.

Strong commitment to workplace safety and attention to detail.

Reliable attendance and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Ability to safely operate or learn to operate multiple @types of heavy equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience operating a Ready Mix truck.

Experience working around concrete production, construction materials, or heavy manufacturing operations.

Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.

Ability to adapt to changing production priorities and workload demands.

Work Environment

This position is based entirely on-site within an active production yard and plant facility. Equipment Drivers remain on-site throughout their shifts and work around Ready Mix trucks, heavy machinery, and production equipment. The role requires working outdoors in varying weather conditions and in a dynamic industrial setting where safety, equipment inspections, and operational efficiency are top priorities.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brighton, CO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.54 - $24.54/hr.
