What's a typical day as Project Manager - Traveling Construction Superintendent? You'll be:
Providing on-site coordination for all phases of commercial construction projects, ensuring specifications are met and work proceeds on schedule and within budget
Coordinating subcontractors, material, and equipment, and overseeing scheduling, inspections, quality control, and job site safety
Monitoring projects from planning to completion, including budgeting, manpower resources, and scheduling
Ensuring quality control procedures are followed, enforcing standards, and adhering to safety and security needs on site
Traveling daily to jobsites for personnel management and progress review
Managing daily logs, assisting in obtaining permits, coordinating required inspections, and maintaining organized and clean job sites
Identifying conflicts in construction progress, communicating with the project team, and providing direction for up to 30+ subcontractors and vendors
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
Have a minimum of 3-5 years of verifiable experience in the commercial construction industry on projects between $250K and $5 million/job (must have)
Hold at least a 2-year college degree (must have)
Are OSHA certified (must have)
Possess excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, Sage CM, Clock Shark, and Holobuilder (must have)
Can read all @types of commercial drawings (must have)
Demonstrate strong customer service and interpersonal skills (must have)
Are willing and able to travel daily to various jobsites
