The Office of Interprofessional Continuing Education (IPCE) has an outstanding opportunity for an Accreditation, Data & Education Program Specialist to join their team.
About this Opportunity
Reporting to the Executive Director, Interprofessional Continuing Education, the Accreditation, Data & Education Program Specialist (Specialist) serves as a senior operational and analytical resource for accredited interprofessional continuing education programs (IPCE) and organizational learning initiatives. This role brings together accreditation expertise, education technology, data analytics, and outcomes measurement to help ensure learning activities meet accreditation standards, advance strategic priorities, and demonstrate measurable impact for learners, teams, and healthcare outcomes.
In this highly collaborative role, the Specialist partners with faculty, clinicians, educational leaders, administrators, and stakeholders across UW Medicine, the Health Sciences Schools, and external partners to strengthen continuing professional development, support workforce development, and expand access to high-quality accredited education.
Key Responsibilities
Accreditation & Compliance Management (30%)
Review educational activities, disclosure materials, mitigation plans, educational materials, evaluation strategies, and supporting documentation for alignment with Joint Accreditation and profession-specific accreditation requirements.
Guide faculty, planners, and coordinators through accreditation planning, documentation, and implementation processes.
Develop and maintain accreditation templates, workflows, standard operating procedures, guidance documents, training resources, internal compliance audits, and metrics to support continuous improvement.
Data Analytics & Outcomes Evaluation (25%)
Collect, validate, analyze, and interpret educational and performance data. Generate reports and identify trends, gaps and opportunities.
Develop outcome measurement strategies, monitor learner, team and organizational outcomes and support data-informed planning.
Digital Transformation & Online Learning Expansion (20%)
Partner with faculty, instructional designers, Enterprise Learning, and technology teams to develop online, hybrid, and asynchronous educational programs.
Support optimization of CloudCME, learning management systems and educational technology platforms. Monitor learner engagement metrics, utilization trends, and user experience metrics.
Program Operations & Project Management (15%)
Coordinate timelines, milestones, deliverables, and operational activities for accredited educational programs.
Support conferences, courses, webinars, and longitudinal educational initiatives.
Strategic Planning, Consultation & Special Projects (10%)
Collaborate with schools, departments, hospitals, clinics, and external partners to advance accreditation and education initiatives.
Support strategic projects related to interprofessional education, workforce development, digital transformation, and institutional priorities.
Required Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in public health, healthcare administration, education, health sciences, business administration, data analytics, informatics, nursing, or a related field.
Two or more years of progressively responsible experience in one or more of the following areas: continuing education (CME/CNE/IPCE), accreditation and regulatory compliance, educational program administration, data analytics and reporting, healthcare operations, learning management systems, and/or educational technology.
Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum requirements.

Desired Qualifications
Four to six years of experience in continuing education, accreditation and regulatory compliance, educational program administration, data analytics and reporting, healthcare operations, learning management systems, or educational technology.
Experience with Joint Accreditation, ACCME, ANCC, ACPE, or other healthcare accreditation standards.
Experience developing dashboards and visual reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
Experience with CloudCME, EthosCE, HealthStream, Cornerstone, or other learning management systems.
Experience with REDCap, Qualtrics, survey design, outcomes measurement methodologies, Moore's Outcomes Framework, or continuing professional development principles.
Experience supporting digital learning initiatives, educational technology implementation or online learning programs.
Experience working in academic medicine, healthcare systems, higher education, or interprofessional education environments.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
Working Conditions
This position is eligible for hybrid work in accordance with UW policy-3 days remote, 2 days in-person.
Occasional early mornings, evenings, or weekends required for conference support.
Minimal travel may be required for on-site educational events.
The Specialist position's work schedule is flexible to meet the demands required to plan and coordinate programs, accreditation needs, and operational deadlines held throughout the year. In-office days are typically Tuesday and Thursday at the University of Washington Tower (UW Campus- Seattle) with some variability based on business needs. Activity dates and planning requirements may periodically require this position to work more than 40 hours per week and require some work during evenings and weekends to meet program and activity needs.

$61,368.00 annual
