Minimum qualifications:
Master's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Economics, Operations Research, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
8 years of work experience using analytics to solve product or business problems, coding (e.g., Python, R, SQL), querying databases or statistical analysis, or 6 years of work experience with a PhD degree.
Experience in Trust and Safety, Child Safety, regulatory compliance, or privacy-first product development.
Preferred qualifications:
10 years of work experience using analytics to solve product or business problems, coding (e.g., Python, R, SQL), querying databases or statistical analysis, or 8 years of work experience with a PhD degree.
3 years of experience as a people manager within a technical leadership role.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $207000 - $301000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities
Establish a unified team goal and strategy for Kids and Family Data Science to align different product offerings and focus areas.
Lead and coach a team of Data Scientists by providing actionable feedback and supporting career development.
Mature data practices, methodologies, and infrastructure in collaboration with data engineering to establish robust processes for analysis, modeling, and reproducibility.
Set the technical roadmap for modeling and analysis efforts to ensure statistical accuracy, data integrity, and code quality.
Guide the development, evaluation, and scaling of classification models while leading cross-functional engagement across different product areas.
