Now Hiring: 1:1 School Nurse

Amergis Educational Staffing is proud to partner with schools in Fall River, MA to hire a compassionate and dedicated 1:1 School Nurse for the Summer and 2026-2027 school year. Position Details

Location: Fall River, MA

Start Date: ASAP

Schedule: Monday-Wednesday and Friday 7:30am-2:30pm

Duration: Full 2026-2027 School Year and Ongoing

Pay Rate: Competitive, up to $55/hour - based on experience

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct care to students including first aid, medication administration, and chronic condition management

Monitor and manage student health records and immunizations

Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers to support student well-being

Respond to health emergencies and implement appropriate protocols

Promote health education and wellness initiatives within the school community

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

Active MA RN license

Experience in pediatric, school, or community health settings preferred

Strong communication and organizational skills

Ability to remain calm and effective in emergency situations

Commitment to fostering a safe and healthy school environment

Minimum Requirements:

Licensed as a Registered Nurse in state(s) where practicing

One year of school nursing experience, preferred

Pediatric experience, preferred

Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

Current CPR if applicable

TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
