Sweep, mop, and dust floors and surfaces throughout assigned areas, including patient rooms, hallways, and common spaces.
Clean up spills promptly and thoroughly, following appropriate safety and infection control protocols.
Use hospital-issued iPhones to receive daily assignments, view work orders, and access cleaning tutorials and instructions as needed.
Navigate multiple floors of a large hospital and learn the facility layout within a reasonable amount of time to complete assignments efficiently.

Work collaboratively with other environmental services staff and hospital teams to support a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
Adapt to a very fast-paced, high-acuity hospital setting and remain professional and composed when exposed to potentially jarring or distressing situations.
Follow all safety, security, and regulatory guidelines, including those related to background checks and access badges.
