Empty trash receptacles and replace liners throughout patient rooms, corridors, and designated areas according to hospital protocols.
Clean up spills promptly and thoroughly, following appropriate safety and infection-control procedures.
Use hospital-issued iPhones to receive daily assignments and work orders, and follow digital instructions for cleaning tasks.

Navigate a large hospital facility and learn the floor plan within a reasonable time to respond efficiently to assigned areas.
Walk extensively throughout the shift, moving between floors and departments while carrying out housekeeping duties.
Adhere to environmental services and infection-control standards required in a hospital facility, including proper sanitizing and disinfecting techniques.
Follow all safety guidelines, including proper lifting techniques when handling supplies or equipment up to 50 pounds.
Work a rotating schedule that includes every other weekend and every other major holiday as assigned.
Maintain reliable attendance in alignment with the established attendance policy.
Collaborate professionally with hospital staff and respond courteously to requests related to environmental services.
Adapt to working in a level 1 trauma center environment, which may involve exposure to situations that can be emotionally or visually challenging.
Demonstrate patience and professionalism during onboarding, including any waiting period for security badges or access credentials.
Why Work Here?
Employees who transition to direct employment with the hospital gain access to highly competitive medical, dental, and vision benefits, along with generous paid time off. The organization emphasizes long-term stability and offers the opportunity to build a career in a respected healthcare environment. You will contribute directly to patient safety and well-being while working with modern tools and technology that support your day-to-day responsibilities.
