As a Security Officer - Warehouse - Overnight Shift in Romeoville, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location as a Screener, where you will monitor access points, screen visitors, team members, and/or materials, and maintain a visible presence that helps support a protected environment. Pay Rate: $19.04 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

Mon10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Tue10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Wed10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Thur10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.

Screen employees, visitors, packages, and/or personal belongings in accordance with site protocols, documenting screening-related activity and reporting concerns through established channels.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to address security-related concerns and/or access control issues.

Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, loading zones, and other designated parts of the location.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, remaining attentive to unusual activity, operational disruptions, and/or potential policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
