As a Security Officer Campus Patrol in Daytona Beach, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a premier hotel and resort location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. You will support a welcoming environment through clear communication and routine patrols while reflecting our agile, reliable, and innovative approach, putting people first and working with integrity and teamwork every day.

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a hotel and resort setting.

Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, escalating issues to site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, corridors, amenity areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.

Monitor access points, observe on-site activity, and document security-related incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations in accordance with Allied Universal and location guidelines.

Support hospitality operations by assisting with directions, wayfinding, and visitor interactions while maintaining a visible presence and communicating respectfully with guests and staff.

Minimum Requirements:

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
