As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Coverage in Pittsburgh, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a busy retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming atmosphere for shoppers and staff. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a retail location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and notifying appropriate personnel.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, sales floor, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.

Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help support loss prevention efforts, observe visitor activity, and/or report suspicious behavior.

Assist with access control, crowd management, and/or de-escalation during busy periods, special events, deliveries, and other daily operations at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
