Warehouse Associate - Forklift & Cherry Picker | Stone Mountain, GA

Position: Warehouse Associate

Location: Stone Mountain, GA

Pay Rate: $18.00/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Shift Options: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch)

Employment Type: Contract

What You'll Do

As a Warehouse Associate, you'll play an important role in keeping warehouse operations running smoothly by accurately picking orders, operating material handling equipment, receiving inventory, and preparing shipments for customers.

Key Responsibilities

Accurately pick, pull, and prepare customer orders for shipment

Operate a sit-down forklift and cherry picker to move materials throughout the warehouse

Receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming inventory

Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently

Put away materials while maintaining accurate inventory locations

Read and follow work orders and pick sheets

Use RF scanners to complete picking and inventory transactions

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment

Assist with shipping, receiving, inventory control, and general warehouse operations

Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse policies

What We're Looking For

At least 6 months of recent warehouse experience

Recent sit-down forklift experience (required)

Cherry picker experience (required)

Comfortable working at heights of up to 20 feet

Experience using RF scanners (RF guns)

Ability to read and understand work orders and pick sheets

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Ability to bend, twist, pull, lift, and stand throughout the shift

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

Reliable attendance and a positive work ethic

Preferred Qualifications

Shipping and receiving experience

Inventory control experience

Material handling experience

Warehouse distribution experience

Experience stocking and staging materials

Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn warehouse inventory

Pay Details: $18.00 to $16.00 per hour
