The Senior Manager, Automation Engineering, leads the design, integration, and continuous improvement of automation systems within supply chain operations. About the team:
The Senior Manager, Automation Engineering is part of the Walmart Supply Chain Fulfillment Innovation & Automation team. This team drives the deployment of advanced fulfillment center technologies to support Walmart's long-term strategies. Members manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and communications with both external automation suppliers and internal partners. The team focuses on delivering impactful results through effective collaboration, process improvement, and operational excellence. Leveraging data analysis and project management skills, the team ensures seamless integration of automation solutions that enhance supply chain performance and support continuous innovation within Walmart's fulfillment network.
What you'll do:
Lead the design, development, and integration of automation systems to enhance operational efficiency and process improvement.
Utilize data analysis tools to explore complex data, develop insights, and influence strategic decisions.
Manage projects by planning, monitoring, and communicating progress while mitigating risks and ensuring alignment with business goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and implement technology changes.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing workflows and recommending optimized processes.
Oversee financial evaluations of automation projects to ensure return on investment and operational excellence.
Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of learning and high performance.
What you'll bring:
Proven expertise in automation system design, integration, and troubleshooting within complex operational environments.
Strong data analysis skills, utilizing tools to develop insights and influence strategic decisions.
Demonstrated ability to lead projects, manage risks, and deliver results aligned with business objectives.
Experience in process improvement and operational excellence, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Proficient in interpreting and designing process flows and business logic to optimize supply chain operations.
Effective communication skills to present complex information clearly and influence cross-functional teams.
Solid understanding of engineering economics to evaluate automation investments and performance.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Minimum Qualifications...
