Job Title: Warehouse Worker
Job Description
The Warehouse Worker plays a key role in ensuring that materials, equipment, and other items are accurately received, stored, and issued from the stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard. This position maintains organized and accessible inventory, supports shipping and receiving activities, and upholds safety and cleanliness standards throughout the facility.
Responsibilities
Receive incoming stock items, verify quantities, and accurately record data manually or using a computer system.
Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards, ensuring proper handling and placement.
Verify inventory counts by comparing system records to physical stock, investigate discrepancies, and correct errors as needed.
Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other designated areas.
Mark and label stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment to ensure proper tracking.
Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to comply with safety regulations and support a safe work environment.
Keep detailed records of stock usage, damage, and stock handling equipment to support accurate inventory control.
Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, and promptly report any damage or issues to supervisors.
Provide assistance, guidance, or direction to other stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard workers as needed.
Determine proper storage methods, item identification, and stock locations based on turnover, environmental factors, and facility capabilities.
Perform packing, shipping, and receiving tasks to support efficient movement of goods in and out of the warehouse.
Adapt to changes in workflow and priorities in a fast-paced environment while completing repetitive tasks with accuracy.

Analytical and problem-solving ability to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies and storage challenges.
Proven ability to work effectively as a team player while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies that support effective security operations and protection of people, data, property, and facilities.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with cart assistance as needed.
Ability to stand for 8 or more hours during a shift.
Ability to bend, squat, twist, and reach frequently throughout the workday.
Basic computer skills to enter, update, and review inventory and shipping/receiving information.
Ability to adapt to changes within a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and productivity.
Ability to complete repetitive work consistently and efficiently.
High school diploma or GED.
5-7 years of experience in a warehouse, stockroom, or closely related role.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with packing, shipping, and receiving processes.
Familiarity with warehouse or stockroom organization methods and inventory control practices.
Comfort working with labeling tools such as tags, stamps, and electric marking equipment.
Ability to follow safety regulations and cleanliness standards in storage and work areas.

Work Environment
This role is based in a warehouse and stockroom environment that involves regular standing, lifting, bending, squatting, twisting, and reaching throughout the shift. Work is performed around storage racks, shelving, and stock handling equipment, with a focus on maintaining clean and safe storage areas in line with safety regulations. The schedule runs Monday through Friday, with availability needed between 7:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., including the ability to close at least one evening per week (approximately 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.). A defined schedule will be provided during onboarding. Basic computer systems are used for inventory and recordkeeping, and typical warehouse tools and labeling equipment are used daily.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $20.00/hr.
