DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this role, you will support consumers with daily living needs, health monitoring, and participation in activities. Your work helps ensure a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for every individual in your care.

As an Aide Trainee, you will perform the following duties:

Daily Living Support: Assist consumers with personal care routines and activities of daily living

Health Monitoring: Record observations and report changes in consumer conditions

Mobility Assistance: Help consumers move safely, including positioning, walking, and transfers

Program Participation: Support consumers during activities, appointments, and therapeutic programs

Safety Practices: Follow proper procedures for emergencies, equipment use, and infection control

Communication Duties: Document information clearly and share updates with the care team

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment.

Work hours are 2:45 PM to 11:15 PM, with a 30-minute lunch.

Rotating schedule including weekends and holidays

Overtime as needed

May change based on operational needs

Shift differential as follows:

2nd shift - $1.25/hour

Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $37,660.00 (before taxes).

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

No previous experience needed, training provided.

Must be able to perform essential job functions.

Legal Requirements:

A conditional offer of employment will require satisfactory completion of a medical examination and drug screening test.

This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.

Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
