Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Part Time Security Officer for a State Site in Danvers MA

Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 8 AM - 6 PM

Starting Pay is $25.88 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training

Candidates Must Have a Concealed Carry Permit and 1+ Years of Security Experience

As a Security Officer in Danvers, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong customer service and communication. Day Time

Mon08:00 AM - 06:00 PM

Wed08:00 AM - 06:00 PM

Thur08:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government transportation location.

Respond to incidents, alarms, traffic-related concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors and public agency contacts as needed.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned facilities, roadways, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Monitor access points, screen for unauthorized entry, and verify credentials, permits, and/or vehicle access requirements in accordance with post orders and site procedures.

Support emergency and public assistance efforts by providing directions, reporting hazards or suspicious activity, and coordinating with law enforcement, first responders, and/or authorized personnel when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
