Production Helper

Our client, a leading organization in the construction and manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated Production Helper to join their team. As a Production Helper, you will be an essential part of the operations team supporting the efficient handling and processing of wood / construction products. The ideal candidate will demonstrate teamwork, reliability, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Production Helper

Location: Athens, NY

Pay Range: $19.00 per hour with overtime as needed.

Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm

What's the Job?

Manually unload product from trucks and restack according to client specifications

Work collaboratively with team members to remove lumber from delivery stacks and count based on order requirements

Place sticks between lumber stacks to aid in drying and preservation

Ensure proper handling of lumber, lifting up to 30 lbs comfortably

Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the lumber yard

What's Needed?

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for entire shift

Comfort working in a manual labor environment

Reliable and punctual attendance

Ability to work well within a team

No prior experience required; training will be provided
