looking for you to join our team. ABOUT THE JOB The Director of Finance
& Accounting will oversee the company\'s financial plans and policies,
its accounting practices, the maintenance of its fiscal records, the
maintenance of internal controls to ensure compliance, and the
preparation of financial reports. The position is responsible for direct
oversight of general accounting, internal auditing, and payroll. Working
closely with management team, and the accounting and administrative
support staff, the Director of Finance & Accounting will develop and
improve reporting systems, policies and procedures which meet the needs
of both internal and external customers. WHAT YOU WILL DO Partner with
sales, operations, and marketing groups to aid in maximizing business
performance through continuous improvement and financial analysis.
Manage all accounting operations including A/R, A/P, Fixed Assets,
Inventory and Accrual Accounting, and Payroll. Direct month-end and
year-end close processes and preparation and analysis of financial
statements. Monitor financial performance through on-going review of
expenses and through the development, analysis and implementation of
budgets and forecasts. Protect assets by establishing, monitoring, and
enforcing internal controls. Coordinate the preparation and execution of
the annual audit. Support the acquisition of franchises through
analysis, due diligence, and integration. Maintain financial staff job
results by coaching, counseling, monitoring, and appraising job results.
Manage cashflow, debt facilities, and other banking relationships to
support operational needs. WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE Bachelor\'s
degree in accounting, finance, business, economics or related fields
CPA, CMA or MBA preferred 7+ years of progressively responsible
accounting experience Public accounting experience with audit emphasis a
plus Experience using continuous improvement principles in an
