As a Security Officer Patrol Coverage in Los Angeles, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $21.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

Mon02:30 PM - 11:00 PM

Tue02:30 PM - 11:00 PM

Wed02:30 PM - 11:00 PM

Thur02:30 PM - 11:00 PM

Sun02:30 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and other security-related policies throughout the hotel or resort location.

Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, escalating matters when appropriate.

Conduct regular and random patrols of lobbies, hallways, amenities, parking areas, and perimeter spaces to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.

Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas while documenting security-related activities, observations, and incidents in accordance with Allied Universal standards.

Assist with emergency response activities, provide directions and support during disruptions, and communicate clearly with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.

Loss prevention experience is preferred.

A guard card and/or license is preferred.

A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
