As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Unit Clearance Required in Manassas, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech location as an armed patrol officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong customer service and communication. In this role, you will bring agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to every shift while helping people first in a fast-paced setting.

Pay Rate: $27.31 / Hour

Mon05:00 AM - 05:00 PM

Fri05:00 AM - 05:00 PM

Sat05:00 AM - 05:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors while carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations while maintaining an armed presence that may help to deter unauthorized activity and other security-related concerns.

Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and report unusual behavior, damaged property, or potential policy violations to site management.

Support security-related operations involving equipment rooms, data-focused spaces, and other restricted areas by following post orders, maintaining awareness of site conditions, and completing required reports.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess an armed guard card and/or license.

Possess an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.

Be at least 21 years of age.

CPR certification is preferred.

Baton certification is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
