Position Summary:
Candidate can work out of Raritan or Titusville, NJ location or Horsham, PA.
Support Road Safety Program execution for the Client's field-based drivers, including compliance, driver risk reduction, training coordination, vendor partnership, and performance reporting.
The Fleet Safety Operations Manager supports the Client's Safety Program by coordinating program requirements, tracking compliance, supporting driver risk reduction activities, and partnering with internal teams and external vendors to help improve road safety outcomes.
Job Responsibilities/ Requirements:
25% - Support road safety compliance and governance activities, including Road Safety Standards, ergonomics evaluations, risk assessments, audit readiness, program reviews, documentation, and follow-up on road safety requirements.
20% - Coordinate road safety reporting, incident follow-up, and driver risk program activities, including crash and injury investigation and validation, CURVE, CPMM/IPMM, post-crash coaching, high-risk driver monitoring, MVR follow-up, and policy attestation.
20% - Support continuous improvement, vendor governance, data quality, Workday-to-vendor alignment, road safety strategy, safe vehicle selection, selector and complex-vehicle validation, sustainability, external benchmarking, and cost/chargeback accountability.
15% - Coordinate driver safety training activities, including annual and behind-the-wheel training, vendor coordination, completion tracking, and escalation support.
10% - Serve as the Fleet Safety Operations point of contact and stakeholder partner for affiliate leaders, drivers, internal teams, and vendors.
10% - Own fleet escalations while partnering with vendor on vehicle-related work, including accidents, repairs, roadside assistance, registration, recovery and redeployment, vehicle assignment support, accommodations, billing accuracy, mileage reporting, and vendor escalation resolution.
Lead EHS&S audits and assessments.
Provide technical guidance, training, and support to Client fleet, EHS, and commercial teams.
Coordinate road safety training modules and regional training activities.
Support crisis management and emergency response for fleet-related incidents.
Represent the business in external fleet safety forums and industry groups.
Required Qualifications
Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred; equivalent road safety, fleet safety, EHS, compliance, or program coordination experience may be considered.
Required Years of Related Experience: 1-5 years of road safety, fleet safety, EHS, compliance, or related program coordination experience.
Road safety, fleet safety, or EHS program knowledge.
Strong analytical, data management, vendor coordination, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Experience with incident investigation, corrective action, and risk mitigation.
Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Experience supporting safety programs, audits, or compliance processes.
