The Supply Chain Analyst manages and analyzes the end-to-end supply chain for high-risk, complex activities, driving significant improvements in business processes, demand planning, capacity management, inventory management, and logistics costs. This role develops and enhances supply chain business models, establishes disciplines, processes, and procedures, and makes decisions involving a high degree of complexity. The position requires strong strategic thinking, the ability to initiate change, and a long-term corporate perspective, with regular collaboration across the management team.
Responsibilities
Manage and analyze the entire supply chain for high-risk and complex activities, ensuring effective performance across purchasing, materials, inventory, and logistics.
Develop and refine supply chain business models to improve business processes, demand planning, capacity management, inventory management, and logistics costs.
Work closely with the management team to design, implement, and maintain supply chain disciplines, best practices, processes, and procedures.
Make decisions involving a high degree of complexity, balancing cost, service, risk, and operational constraints.
Manage purchase orders from creation through completion, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with supply chain and production requirements.
Use ERP systems, including SAP, to manage supply chain data, purchase orders, inventory levels, and materials planning.
Perform data analysis to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement within the supply chain.
Apply strong process-following skills to ensure consistency, compliance, and efficiency in supply chain operations.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including other analysts and supervisors, to support continuous improvement initiatives and resolve supply chain issues.
Communicate clearly and professionally with cross-functional teams to share insights, explain decisions, and support change initiatives.
Essential Skills
4+ years of supply chain experience if no degree, or 2+ years of supply chain experience with a bachelor's degree.
Proven experience working within an ERP system, preferably SAP or SAP ERP.
Strong supply chain analysis and management experience, including purchasing, materials, inventory, and logistics.
Demonstrated expertise in managing purchase orders and product purchasing activities.
Exceptional management capabilities in handling complex supply chain tasks and decisions.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including advanced use of Excel for data analysis.
Ability to follow established processes and procedures with high attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with management and cross-functional teams.
Experience in inventory and inventory management within a manufacturing or similar environment.
Capability to perform data analysis to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred and allows consideration with 2+ years of supply chain experience.
Experience in large-scale manufacturing environments is highly beneficial.
Background in planning or materials planning is an advantage.
Strong change initiation mindset with the ability to support long-term corporate strategy.
Comfort working with complex business models and high-risk supply chain activities.
Experience collaborating within a team of analysts or similar professional group.
Work Environment
This role is based in a large-scale manufacturing plant and offers a hybrid work schedule, with two days onsite and three days remote each week. Team members may choose which days they work onsite, providing flexibility in managing work-life balance. The position is part of a team of six analysts and a supervisor, fostering a collaborative and analytical environment. Standard work hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with some flexibility. The dress code is business casual. The role involves regular use of ERP systems such as SAP, along with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, in a professional, process-driven setting focused on continuous improvement of supply chain operations.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $33.00/hr.
