Job Summary: At the direction of the Executive Vice President (EVP), Chief Physician Executive, leads, directors and coordinates projects and initiatives based on the strategic needs of the organization. This position will provide interim clinic leadership responsibilities at the request of the EVP, EVP COO, and Service Line Administrators as needed, including but not limited to direct supervision of clinic team members, team member mentoring/coaching, and day-to-day clinic operations and financial management.

This position will also provide ad hoc assistance for Medical Group strategic initiatives, such as process improvement and standardization projects identified by Senior Leaders. The incumbent will work in collaboration with Medical Group team members to provide coordination and support for cross-functional requirements. May be responsible for project management tasks as, in coordination with the Office of Strategy Management and Information Technology.

This is a temporary position lasting up to one year.

Qualifications: Master's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required. At least seven years of healthcare management in a supervisory role or equivalent experience required. Consulting and/or equivalent work experience and knowledge of best practices across multiple health systems is strongly preferred.

Strong financial, planning, and multiple site management skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent customer service skills required. Excellent computer skills including an understanding of MS Office Suite, internet, and email; knowledge of medical terminology is required; medical insurance knowledge required; advanced account inquiry skills; initiative/problem solving skills are required; must be able to manage and foster a team environment. EMR and Practice Management system knowledge required. Requires advanced knowledge in the areas of project management, budgeting, finance, performance evaluation, and leadership development/coaching.
