As a Security Officer Medical Patrol in Palm Beach Gardens, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

Mon10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Fri10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Sat10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Sun10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate contacts.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including hallways, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, as assigned.

Help to monitor access points and visitor activity, assisting with direction, badge verification, and/or access control procedures in accordance with site policies.

Support a professional environment by observing and reporting unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, or at least 2 years of security-related supervisor or manager experience, or at least 3 years of security-related experience.

Be willing to meet hospital vaccination requirements.

Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.

Be able to provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
