As a Armed Security Officer - Shopping Plaza in Lynwood, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy commercial real estate location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

Wed12:00 PM - 08:00 PM

Thur12:00 PM - 08:00 PM

Fri10:00 AM - 06:00 PM

Sat10:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant details with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location, including common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter access points, to help to deter unwanted activity.

Monitor access points, observe foot and vehicle traffic, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or suspicious activity in accordance with site procedures.

Support daily operations by providing clear directions, assisting with security-related inquiries, and maintaining a visible presence throughout the location during assigned shifts.

Minimum Requirements:

An armed guard card and/or license is required.

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
