Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a busy retail and mall location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Tue07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Thur07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and communicating with local law enforcement when needed for an armed post.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout storefronts, common areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas for unusual behavior, access issues, and/or potential policy violations, and report findings according to site procedures.

Assist with de-escalation, crowd management, and incident response during busy shopping periods, special events, and/or closing procedures while maintaining a professional presence.

Minimum Requirements:

Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.

Possess an armed guard card and/or license.

Be at least 21 years of age.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
