Job Description
The Information Technology Specialist II consults with business partners to define requirements and develop solution alternatives and estimates, translating clients business requirements into specific systems, applications or process designs for IT solutions and integrating architecture. Project Scope: Complex projects or multiple projects of moderate complexity with project budgets up to $25M involving multiple sites or up to 10 interdependent work tracks.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in a technical discipline; Masters degree preferred
Ten years of related experience, In -depth knowledge of associated technology areas that could impact area of responsibility; healthcare technology experience preferred.
10+ years in software development, delivery, and creating digital technology roadmaps across multiple solutions.
5+ years experience with Oracle cloud P2P modules with expertise in Procurement, Inventory, Cost Accounting, Data integrations, SQL, PL/SQL
Knowledge with Oracle Cloud Integration, Saas, Paas solution and other bolt-on integrations and BI analytics platforms.
Understanding of Supply chain functional capabilities and industry trends and Product Master Data Management is highly desirable.
Working knowledge of Jump, RF Smart, and Oracle Mobile Inventory is highly desirable
Thorough understanding of RPA, AI & ML techniques, large sets of data for analysis of trends and detection of anomalies.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Visio, PowerPoint Documentation.
Experience working with Developers, Data Scientists, and Data Engineers and interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
Ability to conduct design reviews across multiple stakeholders and define end-to-end requirements.
Ability to articulate complex ideas, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong influence management skills with an ability to build trusted partnerships across technical and non-technical resources at all levels.
Responsibilities
Participates in integrated systems planning and recommends alternative technologies that will enhance current or anticipated information systems that support overall business goals.
Participates and/or leads the review and design concepts for new systems and develops and documents the technical design for the integration and implementation.
Coordinates the development of comprehensive and strategic business cases with cost, service and benefit dimensions of proposed projects that are used at management and executive levels for funding and scope decisions.
Plans, coordinates and conducts the analysis of client business processes and functional requirements and the preparation of appropriate documentation to communicate and validate the information.
Independently initiates, identifies and coordinates the analysis of complex client needs in project areas such as new business operating models, innovative approaches to IT solutions support, market research or available product functionality and operational readiness assessment.
Participates in the leadership of cross-functional and/or cross-divisional task forces to identify and document functional requirements, workflow, information sources and system specifications.
Develops the analysis and definition of efficient, cost effective solutions that support client business processes, functional requirements and resource costs, including evaluation of existing applications and alternative uses of technology.
Advises clients on the consequences of actions; communicates risks and ensures understanding of these risks. Jointly develops risk assessment of plan with client, and provides ongoing communication.
Consults on the identification and definition of solution alternatives within the framework provided by Enterprise Architecture.
Performs related duties as assigned or requested.
Additional Responsibilities:
Major areas of responsibilities include Sourcing, Supply Planning, Demand Forecasting, Inventory Management, and Supply Chain processes.
Understand Procure to Pay flows and integrations across all Value Chain to drive standardization.
Collaborate across multiple domains with solution architects to establish IT architectural guidelines and standards. Promote adherence to compliance and change documentation.
Drive analytics and reports to management to facilitate data decisions.
Be an escalation point for complex functional and technical issues. Provide proficiency within a business function, understanding the relationship between the businesses, data, processes and supporting technology.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and identify areas for growth, improvement, and development.
Drive architecture best practices and guiding principles to the broader IT organization to deliver on enterprise architecture goals.

Compensation Statement
Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $120000 - $180060 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
