Job Title: Manufacturing Associate
Job Description
This role directly supports production and manufacturing operations for radiation detection and instrumentation equipment, working in a laboratory environment to ensure high-quality, reliable products.
Responsibilities
Support day-to-day production and manufacturing activities for radiation detection and instrumentation equipment.
Perform testing on products and components to verify quality, functionality, and adherence to specifications.
Troubleshoot issues that arise during the manufacturing process and assist in resolving technical problems promptly.
Use laboratory equipment and glovebox systems safely and accurately as part of the production workflow.
Operate computer systems and software to document work, record test results, and track production activities.
Collaborate closely with engineering partners to address design or process questions and implement improvements.
Maintain an organized personal workstation and follow established procedures and standards in all tasks.
Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines and laboratory protocols to ensure compliance and product quality.
Essential Skills
At least 2+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in a production or laboratory setting.
Hands-on experience in production operations supporting technical or scientific products.
Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards and procedures.
Comfort working in a laboratory environment and following lab safety protocols.
Ability to perform testing and basic troubleshooting on products and components.
Comfort using a computer for data entry, documentation, and basic troubleshooting tasks.
Experience working with glovebox equipment or similar controlled-environment tools.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established processes and instructions.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience supporting the production of radiation detection, instrumentation, or other highly regulated technical equipment.
Laboratory-based manufacturing or assembly environments.
Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams to address technical issues and process improvements.
Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn new tools, equipment, and processes.
Effective communication skills to document work clearly and share findings with cross-functional partners.

This is a Contract position based out of Watertown, MA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
